FINE
FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) is an innovative key technology for inkjet printers developed to meet the challenge of increasing image quality while also realizing faster print speeds. Rather than refining existing technologies, Canon engineers went back to the basics of the company's Bubble Jet technology, reexamining the ejection mechanism and print head manufacturing technology from a completely new perspective to achieve dramatic improvements in image quality, tonal expression, and image stability.
AUTO IMAGE FIX
Canon developed Auto Image Fix technology that analyzes and classifies photo scenes automatically and makes necessary corrections, further improving photo-correction technology to help create even more beautiful digital photo prints. For portraits, this technology detects subjects' faces and optimally adjusts the skin tones and brightness. With scenery photos, emphasis is placed on increasing contrast and saturation. When a photograph contains both people and scenery, the technology aims for a well-balanced image by producing natural skin tones against a vivid background.
